Admissions & Recruitment provides a variety of services that help prospective students and their families learn more about CSU Dominguez Hills. We host many events including campus tours, Counselor Luncheon, A Week at CSUDH Fall Open House, and New Student Orientation. Our department motivates and inspires students to pursue higher education through services for grades K-12 and community college students. We assist prospective students with pre-admission appointments to ensure students are on the right path for admission.

Admissions Counselor 1-on-1

Schedule an appointment with one of our admissions counselors. There are two sessions available; one is for general admissions questions for prospective students, the second is for assistance with the CSU application.

Asian Pacific Islander EXcellence (APEX)

Date: March 9, 2024

APEX is a cultural event designed for newly admitted APIMESA students. This event will help students connect with their peers, faculty, alumni and administrators at CSUDH and understand the multitude of support CSUDH offers.

Registration for APEX will open the first week of February, registration link will be sent via email.

Black Opportunities & Strategies for Success (BOSS)

Date: March 16, 2024

Black Opportunities & Strategies for Success (BOSS) is designed to help admitted students learn of the endless possibilities at CSUDH. Students will engage and connect with CSU Dominguez Hills affiliates for a greater cultural relationship with the university. Establishing networks with the campus as a whole in efforts to ensure students success.

Registration for BOSS will open the first week of February, registration link will be sent via email.

Toro Day - 2024

Date: April 6, 2024

Toro Day is a special preview event for admitted & prospective first-time-first-year, transfer students. During this event students and their families will have the to learn about the academic and student support services we provide here at CSUDH.

Registration will open Mid-February.
